Viwawa
this website has 6 mini games:
  • Chess
  • Wahjong = a Mahjong game with some additional skills like peeking and stuff
  • Big 2 = a variant of Poker game where all the cards are dealed instead of just 5 cards. This game is well known to Indonesian as 'Capsa Banting' :D
  • Sushido = a puzzle game like Bejeweled
  • MatchIt = a memory match game
  • Stwack = a fighting game using simple commands.
each player has his/her own level for each game. Each played game gives experience and money to buy skills or dressing up your avatar. Most of the players are Malays, Indonesians, and Singaporeans... expect a lot of Singlish.

Magic Fortress
a beta online battle game from Thailand
most of the users are Thais and SE Asians but the game itself is quite the classic magic battle with interesting battle mechanic.

Bread and Butter
A mini-game of baking bread and selling them.
Although the game is free, most of the upgrades require us to spend actual money through Outspark cash, which i think is stupid :p

Oil Empire
A game of economy and warfare where players are building an Oil strip across the land and battle through modern warfare.

Rising Force Online Indonesia (idRFO)

hey guys, we're Indonesian gamer have gotten a new toy to play for the next year (i think) or a few months perhaps :p
Lyto Online has launched the Open Beta version of idRFO last month and i think this is the best time to tell the story...

Rising Force Online (RFO)
Creator: CCR Inc
Indonesia Franchisee: Lyto Net
Official Indonesian Website: http://www.rf-online.web.id
Class: MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)
Gamespot Review
Features:

Multi-Race
RF Online enforces three main races:
Full Description
Bellato Union
This is the closest faction to Human (as in WoW)
Holy Alliance Cora
This race is the closest to Elf (as in WoW)
Accretia Empire
While this race is like Robots

All-Warring Races (no alliances)
RF Online does not let you play and hunt in peace, all three races in RF Online are always in constant war. During your hunt, you might encounter other races trying to tackle your race's growth by PK (Player Killing) your growing buds (your lower lvl players so to say). This usually happens when you're hitting level 25... The quests at this level requires you to travel and hunt at neutral area which all races can enter.

Another special feature would be the Chip War.
Every 8(eight) hours you will be prompted that a Chip War has begun. All players with a good level (30++) is suggested to come (usually lead by high-leveled players) to battle a chaotic free-for-all three-ways battle-royale frenzy to destroy other races' chip control tower and taking its Chip to your own Tower.
Victory in Chip War means, until the next Chip War is declared, the winning race can mine at the centre of the mine, guarded by the Holystone Keeper. Mining at the centre of the mine is roughly 3x faster than mining on each races' portal. So if you can imagine, you can basically expect to have your gain in 10 minutes mining in the centre as much as your 30 minutes. mining at your portal... and if for 5 hours (the shortest Chip War interval) meaning you can get as much as 15 hours of mining valuable ores that can be sold or used for Crafting.

Multi-Job/Profession/Class
There are 4 main class available to each races except for Accretia Empire
Full Description
  1. Warrior
  2. Ranger
  3. Specialist
  4. Spiritualist
  • Warriors are as always the character with more health and melee damage.
  • Rangers too are as always the character with more agility and dexterity who use ranged weaponry.
  • Specialists are the character with the ability to craft weapons, armors, ammunitions and even create stronger, better equipments for your race.
  • Spiritualists (except for Accretia) are the magician of the game. As always you will rely on different tree of elemental spells ranging from the Four Main Elements (Fire, Water, Earth and Wind), or the Two Opposing Elements (Holy and Dark)

Job/Profession/Class Advancement
Once your character reached level 30, you can advance your class into a far more superior class which gave you more proficiency and a new set of skills (or open new features special only for certain class).

A Warrior can choose between the damage specialist (with two-handed weapons or dual wielded blades) or he can choose to be the Tank (as in WoW term) using shield and one-handed weapon as his main arsenal.
This class advancement applies to all races with minor skill and proficiency differences.

A Ranger choose between the stealthy scout, a high-damage ranged attacker, a trapper and also (only for Accretia) a launcher. A scout is usually equipped with invisible skills(cloaking), and traps. A ranged attacker is equipped with skills that either enhance your damaging abilities, or disable your foes with chants and spells while shooting at them.

While a Launcher, is a ranged attacker that wield big futuristic guns. Special to Accretian, a Launcher can damage a group of mob simultaneously. Although a Launcher is not much different than an area-damage ranger. Many mettles have underestimated them and paid hefty in return. A group of well-organized launcher is capable of holding the whole race at bay with their constant bombardments.

A Specialist generally focuses on the ability to craft materials into more useful equipments that can be sold for profit or given to a friend for a better purpose. As for each race, specialists have their own uses other than crafting:

Accretian:
Accretian Specialists can advance to Engineer who can construct siege towers to protect important assets and areas. At further level, Engineer is able to convert into a Scientist who is able to heal and resurrect their allies, or a Battle Leader who can provide a speed for its allies and decrease the armor of their opponents.

Corite:
Corite Specialists are limited to a linear job advancement path, after advancing to craftman at level 30, they only have one option being an Artist at level 40. As their abilities does not differ much from Accretian except the Scientist's healing and the Battle Leader capabilities of buff and debuff.

Bellatos:
Bellatos Specialists are special. They are able to advance into a race-unique class called Driver.
A Driver's ability is to drive a Massive Armored Unit or MAU in short. This MAU is a giant machine with enormous defence and offence power. Whilst having superior prowess, the creation, upgrades and maintenance of MAUs often cost a mountain of fortunes. A Driver which later can advance into Armor Rider, should be prepared for repetitive, daily, money raid for their MAUs. All in all, the MAUs provided terror in the battle field. Available to major upgrade into the Black version, known as BMAU (Black MAU), these Giant machines are the meat of the war and should not be underestimated. Taking a group BMAU down is always a hot discussion of strategies and tactics at other races' forums and chats.

Last Spiritualists...
They used magic earned through manipulation of element. Their skills are divided into elements and each elements have many force reavers which enables its wielder to cast different magics.
Spiritualists work the same for Bellatos and Corites except that Corites have their own race-unique class, the Summoner.

Spiritualists in general can advance into a more damaging one.
For Bellato, the other option would be to advance into a support class known as Chandra. Chandra are able to heal and cast many buffs to support its allies.

As for Corite, the option would be the famous Summoner class.
Being in this class, a character can summon an Animus which can assist the caster in the battlefield. There are four different Animus:
  • Hecate - the Force Animus (balanced off/def)
  • Innana - the Healer Animus (heal the caster)
  • Paimon - the Sword Animus (absorb damage - Tank)
  • Isis - the Aura Animus (the highest DPS)
Hench the Animus is also subject to leveling, the higher the level, the stronger it is. (HP-wise and damage-wise)

Male/Female Characters
For you who have the urge to play as your opposite gender, this game offers a male/female difference of characters, except for Accretia tho (how would you differ a male/female robot anyway :p). The main difference would be the type of clothing, the face textures and the hair models. And FYI, the Corites females are by far the most tempting playable character for us boys :)

My Characters:
@Comet - Bellato
Fraulein - Female Driver
Paris - Male Warrior

What to do with an unstable unlimited internet connection?

humm now now... i thought i could play some kick-ass games with clients and awesome graphics with thrilling sound effects... but i suppose i have to bury those for later excavations :)

now here is the solution for a hardcore-gamer like me...
Browser Based Online Game!

here's a list of the games I've played:

Utopia
Play as a province leader cooperating with other Governors and a King thriving to be the best kingdom in the world.

Travian
Play as a village chieftain to grow into a big village then conquers other villages or joins the band of villages known as alliances to fight for regions in the world.

Tribal Wars
similar with Travian... i don't know which one is first tho... but travian does sucks when you are getting hit... and it happened to me... My payback is in this game... I ruled this game!

Popomundo
A cute game where you play as a greenbud artist building your singing career along with managing social life and finances.

Neopets
A cute game where you manage mythical creatures known as pets and live in their worlds. You gain money by playing mini games and/or battling with other pets.
There are many insider stories in form of comics and flashes...

Gaia Online
A cute game where you create an avatar that represents yourself to communicate with other players and also play lotsa nice games to gain money and lotsa cool stuffs...

The Crims
A mafia-simulation game where you are starting your career as a thug who robs people while climbing your criminal career into an Al-Capone mafioso fiesta! (Bang! Bang! my baby shot me down...)

PoxNora
A Flash-based strategic warfare simulation with cards system. Players are given a deck of cards (like Warhammers or Might and Magic or Magic, the Gathering) representing champions(units), equipments, relics, and magics. Players battle it out on an agreed setup of map(battlefield), nora(mana pools) and other stuffs.

Sleuth Noir
A detective game where you are given a set of abilites to investigate a murder that happens in a city. A really thrilling game where luck also plays a strong role in your career building as a Sherlock-like detective.

so... why bother with clients if your internet explorer or mozilla firefox or whatever browser you used could give you so much fun with games?

although if you're expecting the flashy graphics and animations you might want to look otherwise :p

peace and out...
